We had a very nice Easter yesterday. When Zoe woke up the Easter Bunny hid her basket with toys in a Dora tent. She loves the tent and makes us all go inside with her. Of course we're too big and our feet stick out. I let Zoe have a chocolate bunny and she almost ate the whole thing. She was very excited. In the afternoon we went to Mom-mom's house for dinner. Before we ate we tacked up the neighbor's horse, Pepper, and took the kids for a ride.
Today we went to the egg hunt at Rockvale Square. Billed as Lancaster's largest egg hunt. It's more like an egg pick up than a hunt. They told us the parents weren't allowed in but as soon as it started, all the parents rushed in with their kids. So I went in too, instructing Zoe on what to pick up while tossing in a few peanut butter eggs for Kevin and I. Zoe's Pap and Grandma met us there and despite the snow and cold, we had a good time.
We took Zoe to see her 1st movie on the big screen, Horton Hears a Who. She did really well and we didn't have to leave the theater with her because of bad behavior. We did have to feed her 3 lollipops so she behaved.
Kevin had off on President's Day and since Zoe has been into dinosaurs lately I suggested that we go to the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philly. We asked Pap to go with us and had a really nice day...
