Longwood Revisited

We took Zoe to Longwood Garden's today to see the Christmas lights. It was a really nice day. Chilly but not too bad. The lights were beautiful. hard to capture on camera though. I love the picture of Zoe with the sunlight coming in behind her. She looks so mature. She is getting so smart. Can count to 15 now and also string together 5 word sentences. She is also starting to identify many letters.

Longwood

On Monday I took Kevin to school so I could have the car. The kid and I had big plans. We went to Longwood Gardens to check out the new 18 million dollar children's garden. We were not disappointed! Zoe had an awesome time. We went around 4-5 times looking at all the beautiful artwork and flowers. So many fountains to play in! I bought a season pass so we can go anytime for free. If anyone wants to go with us you would get $2.00 off admission. I'm game any day. That place is like Mother Nature's art museum!

On Halloween Zoe counted to ten. We thought it was a fluke. After all, kids who are 21 months can't count, right? Then the next day she did it agin, twice. Today she did it twice again so I ran and got out the video camera. The kid won't perform on camera. Even if you bribe her with candy.

Zoe had a wonderful Halloween. We spent the evening with her Pap. He goes ALL OUT for Halloween.

Farm Show

We went to the Manheim Farm Show last night and had fun looking at all the animals. Zoe really liked this huge table they had out that was full of corn and toy tractors. I enjoyed kissing the two mini donkeys that were just about the sweetest things you ever did see!

the end of summer

Ok, so summer is not officially over for a while, but I go back to school tomorrow, so it feels like it for me. Yes, it has been a while. We did buy that house in East Pete, PA and we have been busy stripping wallpaper, painting rooms, and even laying tile in the kitchen. The house looks great and we all absolutely love it here.

Zoe is doing great at a little past 19m. She talks non-stop and loves to identify animals for you. It is so cute to hear her say "Okapi!" She loves to pull her clothes out of her drawers and see how many dresses and shirts she can actualy wear. She sleeps everynight with her crew: Bathing suit Elmo, Sach ( her Border Collie), a cat and a brown and white rabbit "RaRa"
